You can find me at cafés around town (okay, almost always Le Bar du Matin) painting the street around me with an espresso at my elbow. Working both from life and photos of whatever inspired me that day, I reflect a lot on how we look to old artists’ paintings of urban life and think, “Damn, wasn’t life romantic back then?”

The thing is, life can be romantic here and now! And so armed with my A5 watercolor paper, a pocket palette, and a deep love for this city, I set out to romanticize our 21st century life here in Toulouse every single day. New watercolors are added weekly!
