Art is for everyone - that includes you!

Growing up in the US Deep South had its ups and downs, but if it taught me one thing, it’s the power of hospitality. To be a good host is about more than making the right cake: it’s an invitation to make folks feel welcome, to invite space, to celebrate each guest as special, as someone who matters. Hosting is magic.

In my art, writing, and hosting creative events around Toulouse, I bring that love for hospitality, for invitation, to the table. Whether I’m teaching at Mon’ Studio Toulouse, hosting writing workshops or events at Chez Lapinous, or painting a loved one’s portrait, I’m coming at it with an invitation in hand - an invitation that says, “hey, you’re an artist too.”
