15 March Microfiction Workshop - Toulouse, France

€25.00

Join me and literary editor/judge Ally Mitchell for our in-person, 3-hour microfiction workshop 15 March 2026!

From 13h30-15h30, we will guide you from the first seedlings of a story to a complete, one-page work of fiction. Using prompts to guide us along, we’ll work you through the first draft, editing with an eagle eye, and polishing our stories. And don’t worry; you won’t have to read it aloud when you’re done.

About us:

Since 2020, I have judged 14000 stories for NYC Midnight, most of which were microfiction. And from 2023-2025, I ran Snail Mail Sweethearts, writing monthly microfiction for my audience on a 48-hour deadline. My work has been published in literary magazines including The New Orleans Review and Bourbon Penn, I have spoken about writing at WorldCon 2024 and EasterCon 2025, and my debut novel project was both an Elizabeth George finalist and a Pulp Literature First Page Cage winner.

Ally Mitchell is an editor with over five years of experience taking creative ideas and bringing them to life. With a sharp eye for errors, inconsistencies, and plot development, Ally has nurtured fiction, memoir, and nonfiction for passionate writers since 2021. She’s a highly rated judge at NYC Midnight, offering eagle-eyed advice to help writers reshape their microfiction to be its most impactful in 250 words or less.

~

Microfiction is a world within itself - satisfying, bite-sized moments that tell a complete story. With my microfiction background and Ally Mitchell’s keen, capable eye for making writing that snaps, we will help you make a vibrant world on a single page.

Upon sign-up, you’ll receive an email with the address and logistical details!
