As a teenager, I was your cookie cutter Y2K goth. Besides the glitter. And the crafting obsession. And the unbridled enthusiasm.

My art has evolved past my days drawing cringeworthy gems inspired by Rasputina lyrics, Mark Ryden, and Hole. But that doesn’t mean I don’t still love getting spooky. These days when the wolf howl bubbles up in me, I funnel that old goth-goose spirit into photo embroidery. The vintage photos are sourced mostly from Toulouse’s Saturday flea market at St Aubin; any photo not labeled as vintage in the series were taken by yours truly on a 35 mm camera sometime between 2010 and 2025. No matter where the photo’s from, though, I’ve infused my creepy-kid past into each one with love.
